The Cook role is onsite at Southeast Michigan Psychiatric Hospital in Northville, MI. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Morrison Living’s culinary team supports food service for the people it serves at the hospital. The cook prepares and serves food according to standardized recipes, schedules, and applicable food-safety standards. The role helps provide consistent, safe, and appealing meals while maintaining kitchen cleanliness, equipment, supplies, and required service records.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and instructions
• serve meals or prepare them for delivery using correct portions and temperatures
• follow ticket collection procedures and maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents
• follow HACCP standards and company safety procedures.
