Associate Director of Education & Community Engagement

Compensation is $55,000–$62,000 annually, depending on experience. The role supports Central City Opera’s Education team and community programs. This position coordinates and delivers education and outreach activities, supports teaching and touring artists, and helps develop and improve programs. It contributes to the organization’s efforts to connect opera with regional communities and broaden audience participation.

What you'll do

• Coordinate education and community engagement activities
• oversee onsite program delivery
• lead contract and hourly workers and volunteers
• track attendance, demographics, budgets, surveys, and program records
• manage artist assignments and production calendars
• teach and tour, including regular vocal performance
• coordinate artist qualifications, travel, and housing
• collaborate on outreach, marketing, and new programs.
