Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role is onsite at White Sands Missile Range in Organ, NM, with a salary range of $110,000–$125,000 per year. The position supports Sigma Defense’s electronic warfare work. The engineer evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs, and develops complex system designs and architectures, and supports field testing, training, spectrum management, and test and evaluation. The work provides engineering expertise for the installation, maintenance, and operation of electronic and mechanical systems.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures
• support field testing and training using accredited electronic warfare systems
• manage spectrum for field operations
• analyze and develop Electronic Attack and Sensing techniques
• provide engineering expertise for installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, testing, and operation of equipment
• assist with test and evaluation, checkout, and certification
• review equipment change proposals.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship and a bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, analysis, or a related STEM discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret clearance or higher; sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
