The Assistant General Counsel, Ventures & M&A role is onsite in San Jose, California. The role joins Micron's Corporate Legal Team and supports the Corporate Development Team and other business groups. By advising on transactions from planning through post-signing integration and coordinating internal specialists and outside counsel, the role helps align deals with corporate strategy and policies.

What you'll do

• Manage venture capital investments from term sheets through exits
• prepare and negotiate M&A and related transaction agreements
• provide legal support through planning, negotiation, signing, regulatory work, and integration in the US and EU
• manage outside counsel and legal spend
• partner with internal subject-matter experts
• support other departments on legal matters
• develop transaction standards, templates, and playbooks
• identify AI-enabled legal workflows.
