The Accounting Manager role is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is $95,000–$110,000 per year. The manager supports Blackbird Health’s growing Finance team at a clinician-founded provider of pediatric mental health services. The role owns general ledger operations, financial close, accounts payable, and accounting process improvements while supporting ERP implementation and audit readiness. Accurate, scalable accounting operations help Finance and cross-functional leaders support the organization’s growth and care mission.

What you'll do

• Own month-end close
• prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• perform monthly variance analysis
• manage full-cycle accounts payable, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, corporate cards, and expense tools
• support ERP evaluation and implementation
• prepare audit workpapers, schedules, and internal controls
• partner with Finance, People, and operational leaders.
