The nurse supports a specialized state-operated behavioral healthcare facility providing psychiatric and medical services for people requiring inpatient care. Under the Unit Nurse Manager’s supervision, the RN assesses patients, responds to psychiatric and medical emergencies, documents care, and supports patient safety and compliance with facility and HHSC procedures. Shifts alternate according to staffing needs; Monday–Friday start days are available.
