What you'll do
- Help direct and supervise resident care plans and unit services
- round on nursing units and check in with staff, acutely ill or actively dying residents, and new admissions
- support nurses with assessments, care planning, task priorities, education, and supplies or medications
- monitor incident reporting and documentation and help identify preventive measures
- coordinate communication among staff, providers, responsible parties, vendors, and leadership
- support staffing, staff discipline, hiring and termination, equipment use, and performance reviews
- respond to and document emergencies
- provide direct resident care as needed.
