MEP Construction Project Manager

The MEP Construction Project Manager role is onsite in Austin, TX; compensation is not specified. The position is part of Base Power's Infrastructure & Development team, which delivers capital construction projects supporting the company's distributed-battery power network. As the owner's representative, the project manager oversees design and contractor delivery across the project lifecycle, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget. The role coordinates internal and external stakeholders and manages project controls, risks, and closeout to meet operational and business requirements.

What you'll do

• Represent Base Power on assigned construction projects
• manage contractor performance, design consultant deliverables, and vendor relationships
• develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and scope documentation
• track variances, review change orders, and report status
• coordinate design reviews and resolve design conflicts
• coordinate with operations, manufacturing, and facilities
• identify and manage risks and mitigation plans
• oversee punch lists, commissioning coordination, document turnover, and warranty tracking.

Why this role
