The Buyer is a 100% onsite, full-time role in Canby, OR. Compensation is not specified. The position supports electronic-component manufacturing at the Canby facility, connecting suppliers with the production floor. The Buyer manages purchasing and supplier relationships to keep materials available and production moving. The role helps prevent shortages and delays through purchase-order management, expediting, negotiation, accurate ERP data, inventory support, and coordination with internal teams and inbound logistics.

What you'll do

• Procure electronic components, PCBA materials, fabricated parts, and indirect supplies
• create and manage purchase orders in ERP/MRP systems
• monitor open orders and mitigate shortages and delays
• expedite materials
• negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements
• maintain supplier relationships and ERP pricing and lead-time data
• partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Customer Service
• support inventory optimization
• coordinate inbound logistics and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Why this role

Requires two or more years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, ERP/MRP experience, advanced Excel skills, supplier negotiation experience, and an associate degree. A bachelor’s degree and Epicor experience are preferred. U.S. Person status or other ITAR compliance eligibility is required.
