Real Estate Associate

Job overview

The Real Estate Associate role is hybrid, generally with three office days per week, and may be based in Seattle, WA, Washington, DC, Houston, or the San Francisco Bay Area; exceptional US-based remote candidates may also be considered. Base salary is $180,000 to $205,000 per year, depending on experience and office location, with performance bonus opportunities. The associate supports sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for institutional, public, and private clients. The associate represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing matters, managing documents, due diligence, closings, and transaction workstreams. The role contributes by identifying legal and commercial risks, developing practical solutions, and working directly with partners and clients.

What you'll do

• Represent clients in complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing transactions
• draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, easements, licenses, and financing documents
• conduct and coordinate title and survey due diligence
• manage closings and multiple workstreams
• identify risks and develop practical solutions
• collaborate with partners and clients.
