The intern supports construction projects by testing construction materials in the field and laboratory, learning to interpret plans and specifications, and potentially assisting the Geotechnical Engineering team with subsurface investigations.

What you'll do

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials
• learn to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• record observations and data
• potentially work with geotechnical engineering and exploration drilling crews.
