The Community Canvasser, Justice Project role is onsite in Kalamazoo, MI, with outreach locations in Wayne County, MI. Pay is $24–$26 per hour, with bonuses also offered. The Outreach Team is working to turn out Michigan voters and support progressive candidates, including State Supreme Court candidates. This role connects directly with voters through door-to-door outreach, shares campaign messages, and collects survey responses to encourage participation across the ballot. Canvassers also attend training and follow campaign safety protocols; team leaders additionally support and coordinate canvassers in the field.

What you'll do

• Engage respectfully with the public
• deliver campaign messages and collect complete voter survey answers
• participate in staff training
• follow campaign safety protocols. Team leaders also check in with canvassers, debrief at day’s end, ensure they have needed materials, and assist with training and administrative work.
