The Inventory Warehouse Specialist role is an onsite, six-month assignment in Carlsbad, NM, at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. Compensation is not specified. The role supports warehouse inventory and material distribution by receiving and inspecting deliveries, recording materials in the accounting system, maintaining stock, and preparing requested items for delivery to work areas. U.S. citizenship is required; forklift operation is preferred.

What you'll do

• Receive and inspect merchandise from delivery trucks
• enter materials into the accounting system and organize stock on racks
• perform daily inventory cycle counts
• fill requisitions, work orders, and requests for stock
• stage material orders for distribution
• identify damaged, lost, or surplus goods
• perform other warehouse tasks assigned by the manager.
