Senior Pulsed Power Engineer

Senior Pulsed Power Engineer is an onsite role in Colorado Springs, CO, with a projected annual compensation range of $130,000 to $185,000. The position supports SARA’s High Power Electromagnetics Division and its research and development programs. The engineer designs, analyzes, and tests pulsed-power and related high-voltage systems, contributing hands-on technical expertise and leadership to multidisciplinary projects from conception through implementation.

What you'll do

• Support rapid research and development activities
• perform detailed design and analysis of high-power switching technologies, pulsed forming networks, high-voltage insulation, compact and repetitive pulsed-power systems, SPICE simulation, and protection and filtering circuits
• use data-acquisition equipment
• communicate experimental procedures, data, and analyses
• lead and collaborate with engineers in a multidisciplinary environment.

Why this role
