What you'll do

• Administer injectable medications and vaccines under physician direction
• perform phlebotomy and EKGs
• collect specimens and assist providers with procedures
• welcome patients, take vital signs and record histories or screenings
• prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment
• maintain infection-control logs and supplies
• document in the EHR
• obtain lab and x-ray reports
• verify insurance
• schedule follow-ups
• process medical records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
