Medical Director

The Medical Director role is onsite in Brighton, MA, with an expectation of four days per week in the office. The posting lists a base salary range of $250,000–$400,000 per year. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director leads medical and clinical initiatives and works across the organization to advance oncology clinical research. The role oversees trial execution, data and safety activities, vendor and investigator relationships, and regulatory and quality requirements in support of clinical milestones and product approval.

What you'll do

• Keep corporate and Medical goals on track against milestones and quality and regulatory standards
• execute clinical research activities according to strategy
• lead CRO and clinical vendor relationships
• monitor oncology trials, milestones, risks, and protocol adjustments
• oversee data management, safety, database review, medical cleaning, and compliance
• partner with Clinical Operations on study start-up and site initiation
• collaborate with executive, clinical, CMC, and translational research colleagues
• maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators
• evaluate trial data for efficacy and safety
• resolve study issues
• maintain oncology expertise and uphold ethical, regulatory, and legal standards.
