The Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Rehabilitation Center role is onsite in Delray Beach, FL, with pay of $19 per hour. The cardiology clinic’s in-house gym provides care to patients through an intense cardiac rehabilitation protocol and a nationwide credentialing program. The exercise physiologist assesses fitness, develops and revises individualized training plans, monitors patients’ progress through the rehabilitation protocol, and teaches safe equipment use. The role contributes to patients’ cardiac rehabilitation objectives as part of a team that includes physiologists, nurses, a medical doctor, and a dietitian.

What you'll do

• Perform fitness assessments
• create and periodically revise individualized workout plans and training routines
• demonstrate proper use of machines and equipment
• ensure gym safety standards and procedures are followed
• assist with Heart Health Diet lectures and videos
• document services provided.
