What you'll do

• Manage daily procurement and supplier relationships
• issue purchase orders and related documentation
• resolve supplier delivery, shelf-life, quality, and pricing issues
• source suppliers and products
• participate in supplier reviews
• coordinate with product development and production planning
• forecast needs and monitor inventory
• oversee inbound materials
• work with research and development and quality and food safety on material approvals
• and monitor procurement performance indicators.
