The Associate Manager, Robotics Lab role is onsite in Santa Clara, CA, on an assigned day, swing, or night shift. Compensation is $71–$81 per hour. Welo Data supports AI development through multilingual data, evaluation systems, and robotics demonstration data collection. The manager owns shift production, quality, staffing, and safety, ensuring consistent output and clean handoffs between shifts. The role develops supervisors, addresses operational issues in real time, and works with Data Quality and Lab Engineering to keep the operation on plan.

What you'll do

• Own the shift production plan and performance targets
• manage Operations Supervisors and develop the Cell Lead bench
• run shift start-up, reviews, and documented handoffs
• redeploy staff and resequence work as needed
• oversee safety walks, protocols, and incident response
• partner with Data Quality on acceptance rates
• escalate equipment issues to Lab Engineering
• handle performance and employee relations escalations with HR
• maintain California meal, rest, and overtime compliance
• report daily performance and variance.
