What you'll do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• interpret, transcribe, and verify medication orders in the clinical information system
• monitor drug regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dose appropriateness
• consult with practitioners
• attend daily clinical rounds
• provide medication information to patients and providers
• participate in required training
• maintain pharmacy transaction records
• file and label medication containers.

Why this role

Requires an ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree and current Texas pharmacist license; at least one year of recent hospital pharmacist experience required; PGY1 residency and IV certification preferred.
