What you'll do

• Condition, accept, and quality-test communications links, trunks, and circuits. Patch, test, troubleshoot, and restore circuits
• perform frequency changes and scheduled or demand maintenance. Coordinate satellite links and line terminal operations, test equipment and circuits, and operate base radio and assigned international distress frequencies. Occasional non-duty hours or weekend work may be needed for mission requirements.
