The Electrical Engineer — Spacecraft Electronics role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Compensation is $105,000–$200,000 per year, plus company equity. K2 Space is developing and mass-producing high-power satellite platforms for commercial and U.S. government missions. The engineer designs, tests, and qualifies critical electronics for spacecraft, progressing from prototype assemblies to flight-qualified hardware. The work integrates electronics into satellite systems and supports operation of the hardware in space.

What you'll do

• Design spacecraft electronics PCBAs, including architecture, component selection, circuit-board design, bring-up, and debugging
• qualify designs through vibration, shock, thermal, and thermal-vacuum testing
• integrate designs with spacecraft systems
• and develop test equipment, development PCBAs, and test scripts.
