Construction Estimator

Job overview

The Construction Estimator role is onsite in Reno, NV. Compensation is $75,000–$105,000 per year. The position supports construction preconstruction activities and project planning. The Estimator develops accurate, competitive estimates and coordinates bidding and procurement with owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. The work helps identify project costs, risks, and opportunities before construction and supports the transition into project execution.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates, budgets, bids, and proposals
• perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents
• solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• coordinate procurement and bidding
• identify scope gaps, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• support value engineering and constructability reviews
• communicate with project stakeholders
• assist with the transition from preconstruction to construction
• manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
