The Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician — Board Eligible role is onsite in Omaha, NE; compensation is $72,000–$85,000 per year. The clinician joins Hanger Clinic’s embedded practice at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, serving adult and pediatric rehabilitation patients. The role provides or supervises comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care, from patient assessment and treatment planning through device design, fitting, adjustment, instruction, and follow-up. Collaboration with the rehabilitation team supports patient-centered outcomes, with opportunities to participate in research initiatives described in the posting.

What you'll do

• Assess patient needs and formulate treatment plans
• collaborate with physicians and recommend treatment options
• design, fabricate, fit, align, and adjust prosthetic or orthotic devices
• instruct patients in device use
• follow up with patients and physicians
• document clinical care
• provide in-service training
• support materials management, quality, compliance, and practice management
• may mentor residents or newly certified clinicians and may be asked to perform on-call work, hospital calls, or float between clinic locations.
