The aide helps maintain a safe, confidential shelter environment and supports participant intake, basic needs, meals, referrals, activities, and transportation. The role contributes to coordinated crisis services and the shelter’s domestic-violence awareness work.

What you'll do

• Promote participant and shelter safety and confidentiality
• provide food and basic needs with dignity
• prepare and record CACFP meals
• monitor the crisis line and assist with intakes
• provide community resource information and referrals
• coordinate with other agencies
• support activities and groups
• record participant progress in meetings and shift notes
• maintain forms and assist with reports
• attend meetings and training.
