Shift Leader

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Orland Park, IL, with compensation of $17–$19 per hour. Smashburger’s stated aim is to serve better burgers through better service, support, and teamwork. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the Shift Leader guides front- and back-of-house employees and supports consistent restaurant operations. The role includes training and recognizing employees, completing operational checks, monitoring guest experience and food-safety standards, and managing labor, inventory, and cash procedures.

What you'll do

• Manage front- and back-of-house employee performance
• promote a positive work environment
• train, onboard, and recognize employees
• complete operational checklists, including opening and closing, line checks, uniform standards, and safe and deposit logs
• monitor guest experience metrics and food-safety standards
• follow food ordering, inventory, cash, and labor procedures.
