Facilities Maintenance Technician 1

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems
• complete basic repair work orders, including lighting, drywall, plumbing, and door repairs
• assist with equipment troubleshooting, installations, and larger repairs
• perform carpentry, painting, and cosmetic repairs
• monitor building equipment and report abnormal readings
• move furniture and equipment
• maintain a clean and safe maintenance shop and parts area
• use hand and power tools safely
• record work in the CMMS
• follow safety programs including LOTO and PPE
• support ESD control programs
• use manuals and work orders
• coordinate with external service providers
• respond to facility occupant requests.
