Pediatric Private Duty Nurse

The Pediatric Private Duty Nurse role is onsite, providing care in a client’s home in the Jacksonville, NC area. Pay is $33–$35 per hour, based on experience, licensure, and case assignment. First Day Homecare is building its nursing team for anticipated client referrals and provides pediatric home care. The nurse provides focused one-to-one care that supports a child’s clinical and developmental needs at home. The role carries out care plans, monitors the child’s condition, documents care, and communicates with family members to support continuity and help families manage ongoing care.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one medical care tailored to the child’s needs
• manage interventions that may include G-tube feedings, seizure management, and respiratory treatments
• administer scheduled medications and monitor vital signs and changes in condition
• educate and communicate with family members about the care plan
• follow and document doctors’ orders
• perform assessments and record observations, interventions, and evaluations.
