What you'll do

• Coordinate precepting for new employees across Outpatient Surgery, PACU, OR, Sterile Processing, and GI Lab
• identify staff education needs with clinical leaders and implement education plans
• demonstrate and validate procedures and equipment use
• support patient care and department coverage as needed
• prepare patient education materials
• review literature and implement best practices
• conduct or facilitate audits
• coordinate annual competencies, skills days, and BLS/ALS/PALS
• assist with simulations, transfers, and hospital-wide or unit-specific classes
• participate in meetings, councils, and committees.
