What you'll do

• Administer injections

• process refills and prescriptions
• respond to patient questions
• process incoming faxes and appointment reminder texts
• scan documentation into patient charts
• handle prior authorizations
• create encounters in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• contact referrals
• perform other duties as needed.

Why this role

An active Certified Medical Assistant credential through AAMA or Registered Medical Assistant credential through AMT is required upon hire. One year of EPIC EHR experience is required. The schedule states no Fridays or weekend shifts, with specified Monday–Thursday hours and unpaid lunch periods.
