Registered Behavior Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician role is based in San Marcos, TX, with services delivered in clinic, home, and/or community settings. Compensation is not specified. Shape Center provides Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism and supports their progress through individualized treatment plans. Working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the technician implements behavioral plans, collects progress data, and models appropriate play and language. The role also supports family training and consistent implementation of individualized treatment plans.

What you'll do

• Implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA or LBA in clinic and clients’ homes
• provide one-on-one in-home and community-based ABA therapy
• collect and report treatment progress data
• support BCBA training for families
• maintain RBT certification
• protect confidentiality under HIPAA
• attend staff meetings and training.
