This role exists to manage the introduction of new projects and oversee engineering changes. The engineer will resolve manufacturing issues, implement continuous improvement activities, and ensure high-quality production standards.
What you'll do
- Manage new projects through various stages.
- Perform cost estimating functions.
- Manage tooling and fixture builds through the APQP process.
- Update routings, BOMs, and BOOs.
- Provide proposals for continuous improvement.
- Establish quality plans including FMEA, control plans, and PPAP.
