The Electrical Design Engineer — MEP / Commercial Buildings role is onsite in Columbus, OH. Pay is $80,000–$120,000 per year. The multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm serves public- and private-sector clients with practical design solutions. The engineer develops electrical systems and project documentation for commercial buildings, coordinating with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients. The work supports integrated, code-compliant designs from initial planning through construction documentation, with a focus on quality and safety.

What you'll do

• Design electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems for commercial buildings
• prepare drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents
• develop and coordinate designs using AutoCAD and Revit
• collaborate with project teams and clients
• apply Ohio building and electrical codes
• support project coordination, design reviews, and technical problem-solving.

Why this role
