What you'll do

• Collect venous and capillary specimens
• label, process, and store specimens
• receive and send out specimens
• review and place test orders
• perform laboratory testing under established procedures and CLIA standards
• maintain instruments
• review quality-control data
• troubleshoot instruments and assays
• validate new equipment and methods
• release results and communicate critical and STAT results
• maintain documentation and inventory
• participate in quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.
