The Optometrist (OD) role is a mobile, onsite position serving facilities in Southeast Massachusetts, with work available in Norfolk, Plymouth, and Bristol counties. Compensation includes a $625 daily minimum and an opportunity to earn $800 or more per day through production. HealthDrive delivers on-site healthcare services to residents of long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. The optometrist provides general eye care to facility residents, diagnosing and managing visual-system and ocular conditions and documenting care in the company’s electronic medical record system. The role supports access to vital healthcare for residents through daily travel to skilled nursing facilities and other assigned facilities.

What you'll do

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living, and long-term care facilities
• diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders, including age-related conditions
• examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system and associated structures
• identify systemic conditions affecting the eye
• complete clinical documentation in the EMR
• travel daily to skilled nursing facilities.
