What you'll do

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles
• oversee and sign off on repairs completed by other mechanics
• estimate labor and time for additional repairs
• explain diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers
• test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment
• communicate additional service needs
• perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• participate in ongoing technical training.
