What you'll do

• Work with the clinical care team
• support communication among patients, caregivers, and providers
• assist with chart preparation
• set up equipment and perform applicable tests, injections, and specimen collection
• obtain medical histories and vital signs
• process blood draws and specimens
• prepare exam rooms
• follow up on physician orders and lab requests
• support patient education and paperwork
• respond to patient calls
• maintain confidentiality and an organized work area.
