Generator Service Technician

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial generators
• change oil and filters and replace routine maintenance items
• operate a lube skid
• conduct load-bank testing and document results
• inspect batteries, charging systems, belts, hoses, and equipment condition
• perform defined minor repairs
• document concerns requiring further diagnosis
• escalate major engine, electrical, controls, alternator, or advanced diagnostic repairs
• complete service reports and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle
• follow safety policies and use PPE.
