The Finisher & Polisher role is onsite in Peoria, IL. Pay is $22–$28 per hour. Rheo Engineering designs and builds powder-handling equipment used to make life-saving medicine. The role prepares and finishes stainless-steel surfaces on equipment, supporting welding fabricators, project assemblers, and detailers. Its work helps ensure equipment meets engineering and production requirements and is ready for delivery.

What you'll do

• Prepare surfaces according to engineering guidelines and production protocols
• perform sanding and polishing at multiple finish levels
• operate finishing equipment and pneumatic tools after training
• maintain tools and machines
• clean equipment, including heat-tint removal, wash-downs, and passivation
• read fabrication prints
• inspect incoming stainless-steel parts against bills of materials and allocate them to project bins
• help train new surface-finish team members
• deliver quality work on time.
