What you'll do

• Process transactions using the cash register and point-of-sale system
• handle cash and balance the drawer
• accept approved payment methods and process SNAP and WIC purchases
• issue receipts and change
• greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues
• follow regulations for weights, measures, alcohol, and tobacco sales
• identify products
• bag merchandise
• suggest additional products or services
• maintain a clean checkout area
• stock merchandise as needed
• assist with cashier training if directed.
