CDL Driver (Class B) - Local Delivery, onsite, Buffalo, NY. Pay is $24.50-$25.00 per hour. PODS provides moving and storage solutions. This role is responsible for the delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations, ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining positive customer relationships.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner.
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required.
• Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer.
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts.
• Provide backup for storage center functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.

What we're looking for

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

Minimum of 3 months of service with organization as a Driver (or 6 months for re-certification)
