The Director of Admission Events, Student Experience and Visit Operations role is fully onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $70,000–$75,000 per year. The position leads Illinois Tech’s prospective and admitted student engagement programs, campus visits, and Visitors Center operations. The Director sets priorities, experience standards, resource allocation, and success measures while leading the team and coordinating campus partners. The work supports undergraduate and graduate enrollment goals by delivering coordinated student and family experiences and using program data to improve engagement, conversion, and yield.

What you'll do

• Lead strategy for admission events, student engagement programs, campus visits, and Visitors Center operations
• supervise and develop team members
• oversee staffing and operational coverage
• build campus partnerships
• coordinate campus participation in recruitment and yield programs
• establish and monitor program measures
• support reporting and assessment using Slate and other systems
• use results to improve staffing, communication, resources, and service delivery
• present findings and recommendations.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; evening and weekend work required for scheduled events; occasional domestic travel may be required. Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of relevant experience required; three or more years of leadership experience required.
