The CPA organizes and updates financial records, addresses outstanding accounting work, reconciles accounts, and prepares and reviews financial statements. The role also helps improve procedures and internal controls, supporting accurate records and efficient financial operations as the company grows.

What you'll do

• Review, organize, and update accounting records
• assist with outstanding bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
• prepare and review financial statements and reports
• identify and correct discrepancies
• assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax preparation, reporting, and compliance
• evaluate procedures and recommend improvements
• help implement accounting systems and internal controls
• work with the existing accounting team member to improve accuracy and workflow.
