What you'll do
- Process referrals and obtain missing information
- serve as a point of contact for physicians, referral sources, caregivers, and families
- explain services and guide families through intake
- maintain patient records in the electronic medical record
- coordinate insurance verification and authorizations with billing
- communicate coverage and financial responsibility
- schedule evaluations
- track referral metrics
- and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.
