Hospital Services Representative

The Hospital Services Representative role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with starting pay of $20.00 per hour. The role supports the San Diego Blood Bank’s Hospital Services department, coordinating blood and blood-component distribution and serving as a key contact for hospital blood banks. The representative coordinates orders, inventory, transport, and quality documentation so blood products are handled and delivered safely and in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations. The role also supports logistics across blood bank facilities and hospital partners.

What you'll do

• Receive and fill hospital orders for blood and blood components
• coordinate route drivers and couriers
• deliver products when an emergent need arises and no other resources are available
• coordinate interdepartmental transport
• maintain and monitor inventory
• arrange shipments
• follow transport temperature and regulatory requirements
• perform cross-trained product handling and labeling tasks
• maintain records, logs, audits, and quality documentation
• investigate temperature events and recalls.
