The Material Handler is an onsite, full-time, first-shift role in Rockford, IL, paying $18–$23 per hour. Hughes Recruiting & Consulting is recruiting for a customer in Rockford; the customer’s facility team relies on this role to support production, shipping, and inventory flow. The handler moves and verifies materials throughout the facility, maintains inventory records, and supports production and shipping teams. Safe, accurate handling and timely delivery help keep materials available where they are needed.

What you'll do

• Transport raw materials, components, and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts
• load and unload trucks or containers
• verify part numbers, quantities, and condition
• maintain inventory records
• store materials in designated locations
• deliver materials to production lines
• assist with inbound and outbound orders and material distribution
• follow safety procedures and use PPE.
