Assistant Service Manager — Equipment Dealership

The Assistant Service Manager role is onsite in Plaistow, NH. Compensation is $65,000–$80,000 per year. The position oversees the dealership’s service department and its customer-facing service and delivery operations. The role coordinates staff, work orders, staffing, and daily service activity to support customer satisfaction and safe, effective store operations. It also communicates service status and additional work needs to customers and works with other store personnel as needed.

What you'll do

• Plan, direct, schedule, and coordinate service writers, mechanics, yard attendants, janitorial staff, and delivery drivers. Train employees in company procedures
• oversee opening and closing service work orders
• ensure adequate staffing and enforce company policies. Communicate with customers about work-order status and additional work
• address customer satisfaction issues and promote safe operating practices.
