Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk role is onsite at the Brazos River Authority Central Office in Waco, TX, with a starting salary range of $19.80–$25.24 per hour. The Brazos River Authority works to develop, manage, and protect water resources in the Brazos River Basin. The clerk provides support for the Authority’s accounting functions by processing payments and reimbursements, coordinating travel reconciliations, maintaining utility tracking, and assisting with accounts payable and general accounting work. The role also helps the Controller and coworkers meet project goals and deadlines.

What you'll do

• Process accounts receivable payments and employee expense reimbursements
• oversee travel requests and reconciliations
• manage utility tracking and prepare the annual utility consumption report
• coordinate annual federal census filing
• provide accounts payable backup and general accounting support
• assist the Controller and coworkers with projects.
