Job overview

The Buyer role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; occasional weekend work may be required. Pay is $25 per hour. System One provides outsourced services and workforce solutions to clients. The Buyer supports project purchasing by fulfilling requests, evaluating supplier offers, and coordinating orders and delivery details. The role helps project teams manage costs and timelines through supplier follow-up, purchasing-system updates, and accurate budget and performance reporting.

What you'll do

• Provide material and freight cost estimates
• monitor and fulfill purchase requests
• analyze supplier offers for cost savings and delivery outcomes
• coordinate with suppliers and project teams
• track delivery commitments and outstanding items
• report supplier performance
• process change orders, returns, and warranty exchanges
• resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable
• allocate costs to project budgets.
