Physical Therapy Receptionist

What you'll do

• Check patients in and out
• answer phones, check voicemails, and return calls
• schedule follow-up appointments and confirm upcoming visits
• verify physical therapy benefits and request authorizations as needed
• check and respond to faxes
• scan patient information between ModMed and TheraOffice
• ensure orders and notes are correctly transferred and linked
• assist with translation between therapists and patients as needed
• collect and post copays, deductibles, and balances.
